YOUTH MUSIC EDUCATION: Registration is open for the fall after-school youth music education program of the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music, 1901 Bartholomew St., New Orleans. The program provides music instruction, computer coding and academic tutoring for students ages 8 to 18 in the Ninth Ward and surrounding communities. Classes for the fall semester begin Aug. 22 and end Dec. 6.
